kangaroos!
Yay, I saw some kangaroos today!
My room mate Leah, and a friend, Michael, took me to the coast, about 2 hours away, and we went to some beautiful beaches. One of them had a camp site near by, and under some trees on our way back were a whole bunch of kangaroos! One of them was really big, and lots of little ones were there too. They were using their tails to hop slowly about and eat grass. I also saw Pooh Bear's cave but it's by a road and we jut passed it in the car so I couldn't get a picture - Pooh was in there though, quite big!
And me on the beach....
But I am working hard, honest!
I love you all as long as a circle - thank you Ben for that idea, it's great!

Did the kangaroos come near you? Did they use kick with their legs as well as their tails? Please take a photo of Pooh Bear! Was the seawater warm? We miss you very much.

Ah, I missed Pooh Bear, he was sitting up in his little cave right beside a big bend in the road, on a very steep hill. It's a long way from here, so we'll have to imagine him...
The kangaroos were just going very slowly, not running across the grass or anything. The sea was quite cold! Huge waves, moving fast - not at all like Italy. But the air was so warm, it was lovely, and we dried very fast.
I have to go to bed! A long day with lots of homework....much much love, Mummyxxxxxxxxxxxx

Tonight Ben's got a headache. Lucie's got a headache too. We're off to bed in the middle of the day (in Australia!). Tomorrow Ben's going to make an igloo at school. And Grandma will take us swimming. bllllbah!
